Library card

If you live in Tierras Altas (Volcán, Cerro Punta, Paso Ancho, Nueva California, Cuesta de Piedra, Tisingal, or Caisán), you can get a card and borrow books.

Types of membership

Family card, B/. 5 — covers an adult and their immediate family in the same household.
Teen card, B/. 3 — for ages 12–18 who want their own card.

Requirements

Cédula or passport
Proof of residence in Tierras Altas: electric, water, or phone bill, or a copy of the lease

Visit during opening hours or download the form. The card is ready in one to two weeks, but you can check out books immediately. A parent or guardian must accompany a teen applying for a card.
