Here is your chance to learn the latest on this life saving technique.
WHY LEARN HANDS ONLY CPR?
Cardiac arrest – an electrical malfunction in the heart that causes an irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) and disrupts the flow of blood to the brain, lungs and other organs is a leading cause of death. Worldwide, millions of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen each year.
When a person has a cardiac arrest, survival depends on immediately receiving CPR from someone nearby.
According to the American Heart Association, CPR, especially if performed immediately, can double or triple a cardiac arrest victims chance of survival.
Come to this interactive presentation to learn how to give hands-only CPR. Be ready!

This course will be taught by Jim Myers Jim Myers, a heart survivor and alumni volunteer and employee of the American Heart Association. Until last year, he worked at AHA as the Business Development Manager for CPR in the Southwest US. He’s helped trained thousands hands-only CPR, from kids to seniors. He’s also participated in AHA sponsored panels, and along with NFL’s Damar Hamlin, who survived an on-field cardiac arrest in 2023, trained hundreds at the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit, MI. Even if you took a CPR course years ago, refreshers like this, guided by the latest science, are still valuable and help save lives.
